Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

You don't. The quoting tool needs gender, birth date, health status, nicotine use, the amount of coverage you want, and how many years you want it for. Those six pieces of information are enough for carriers to provide quotes. Your contact information is collected only if you move forward with an application.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

The prices are what each carrier is willing to quote for the health class you specified. The underwriting process, completed after you apply, determines your actual premium and may confirm, raise, or lower the class. This website displays estimates only; nothing here guarantees a specific rate or insurance.

What happens when I click Apply?

You move into a secure application on the carriers' own platform, pre-filled with the answers you provided. You can save your work and return later. Your signature is added electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed agency (License 0B75129), manages the application.

Will I need a medical exam?

It depends on your carrier choice, coverage amount, and your health information. Carriers with accelerated approval can make decisions for qualified applicants without an exam; for others an exam may be necessary. Each carrier's quote on the site indicates whether an exam is required, may be required, or is not required.

Is a longer term better?

A term length should align with when you need protection most. If you'll have a mortgage, dependents, or business obligations for 20 years, that's the right term. Longer terms mean larger monthly payments but lock your rate longer. The quote tool lets you test 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year options.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote tool never asks for contact information, we don't trade or distribute visitor data, and our traffic counting uses no cookies. Review our privacy page for the complete accounting of what is collected and who can see it.
